RevenueCat analytics for global app growth

Use financial metrics to understand business health and country milestones to understand how your footprint is expanding.

Subscription analytics are strongest when every metric has a job. Revenue explains business performance. Trial and conversion signals explain the purchase journey. Country reach explains distribution. Combining the questions is useful; pretending one metric answers all of them is not.

Build three analytics layers

Financial layer

Track revenue, proceeds, renewals, refunds, and other monetary measures in RevenueCat and the relevant app-store reports. These numbers answer whether the subscription business is healthy.

Product layer

Track trial behavior, conversion, retention, paywalls, and customer history with the tools built for those decisions.

Geographic layer

Track qualifying transaction countries, active versus historical markets, continents reached, per-app footprints, and first-reached dates. This layer answers where the app's paid footprint has appeared.

Use country analytics carefully

A country field is a market signal, not a personal profile. Label it as transaction or store country and aggregate it before visualization. A small number of subscribers in a market may be emotionally meaningful without being statistically meaningful; avoid making expansion decisions from a stamp alone.

Good interpretation: “Japan became our ninth qualifying transaction country.” Bad interpretation: “Our Japanese audience is established.” The first is supported by the event; the second requires more evidence.

Add Reachly to the analytics workflow

  1. Use RevenueCat for recurring financial and operational analysis.
  2. Open Reachly to see whether new qualifying countries or continents appeared.
  3. Filter the developer passport to the app responsible for the change.
  4. Check whether the new market remains active or becomes historical.
  5. Use the monthly journey and achievement progress to communicate momentum.
  6. Return to deeper analytics before making a pricing, localization, or acquisition decision.

Keep the geographic layer private

Reachly requests read-only access, stores credentials in device Keychain, and reduces raw subscription information to local fingerprints and country summaries. It does not operate its own subscription-data server. Optional synchronization uses the developer's private iCloud account for aggregate passport data.

This architecture matches the narrow job: remember where the portfolio has reached without creating another customer database.

Add geographic memory to your analytics stack.

Reachly turns qualifying RevenueCat countries into a map, passport, and growth story.
